Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Her most recognizable part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she has directed, produced and performed in her own films Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Additionally, she was Bride in Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was the younger child from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle is her sister and an artist. Benson was born to a father who is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. The career of Benson continues to grow following the ending of Buffy. She was in films like The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. Her writing talents have been put to good use in Ghosts of Albion, and she also directed Drones (2010).
