Chaka Khan

Chaka also known as Queen of Funk as she is often referred to is an American record producer. Over the course of her career, which has stretched over five decades, she has had a total record of ten Grammys. Billboard Magazine ranked her 65th among the top dancer in the world. Her mother introduced her to jazz when she was young. In her early years, she was a member of various groups. Later, she joined the group Rufus. Together with the group, she made her debut album when she was just twenty-one. A year later, the group was awarded their very first Grammy. Then, a few years later, she debuted as a solo artist, and the album was self-titled. Through the years, she has issued a series of albums, such as "Echoes of an Era," The Woman I Am,' and Funk This. Apart from her work in music, she has also been recognized as a charitable persona. She founded Chaka Khan Foundation to help children in need. Chaka Khan Foundation to help kids from families with low incomes, in addition to children with autism. Khan is also an occasional actor.
